HiLARiOuSly PIMP~
GLAMOUR PARTS: From hundreds who applied, 24 were picked to compete at the Semi-Finals, where 18 stunning ladies impressed the judges enough to secure them a place at the Grand Finals. Just who will be crowned this year's Miss Singapore Universe? And which lucky ladies will sashay home with the subsidiary awards of Miss Photogenic, Miss Body Beautiful and Miss Charisma? 24-year-old flight stewardess Jessica Tan has beaten 17 other contestants to be Miss Singapore Universe 2007. She walked away with a cash prize of $25,000, a possible television contract and the chance to represent Singapore at the Miss Universe international pageant in Mexico City. UGLY PARTS (these are true): She needs to do her own make up and hair for the contest in Mexico therefore she has to pay a makeup artist and hairstylist to teach and help her with the grooming . (-3k) She has to pay for her air ticket to Mexico!!!! (-2k) She needs to rent her own gowns and costumes for the contest.(-3-5k) She probably has to quit her SQ job just to prepare for all these glamour mama contest. Oh comeon!!!! You will go through so much hassle to be crown just for a year? And the next year you will be totally forgotten? That is so sad......EteRNity is a TiNy tRee~
The dictionary defines eternity as: Infinite or unending time. Assuming that is true, man can never measure eternity for he will die before an answer can be reached. So if MAN cannot measure eternity and objectively prove that it exists, is there an eternity? It's like asking: If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one to hear it, does it make a sound? Is sound a sound only when it is heard? What if a cat was in the forest? Does it count? What if there were 2 cats? But i digress. While it seems impossible to measure and define eternity, it hasn't stopped us from trying. I have not stopped.
Have you?
